We found the architect easy to work with and felt they really understood our vision and came up with a beautiful design that is both modern and timeless.
I enjoyed the discussions and coming in the next week to see how they transferred to paper. It was exciting to see that first concept drawing, they nailed it!

The documentation stage was fantastic. The staff were really easy to work with and keeping track of the changes to the budget along the way was extremely important.

Overall the experience has been Wonderful! I would recommend Destination Living to anyone who asks.

Sophia & George from Caulfield,

We chose destination living because we purchased a block of land and needed someone who could take the project all the way through. This was important because we knew from experience how crucial it is that the bond between the architect, builder and client is really strong.

The design team were very accommodating with our thoughts and ideas and pretty much what we ended up with on paper is what we thought we were going to get. The good thing about the process was that the architect gave us ideas that she thought would improve the final product. It was a good process and the team were always approachable, understood where we were coming from and nothing seemed to be too hard for them.

The other thing I would like to mention, because of the nature of my work and Meredith’s work, they were really accommodating in terms of meeting times and we couldn’t have done it any other way, so that was really appreciated.”

Gary & Meredith from Wheelers Hill,

Because of the shape and size of our block and the style of the house we wanted, we knew there was no option to buy our house ‘off the shelf’. Finding an architect was our first decision and then it was going through the process of who to choose.

I found Destination Living on the web then met them at the home show and enquired as I really liked some of the pictures of their homes.

Coming in for the first client meeting and meeting the architect and seeing the level of thought that went into the homes designed is what sold us. The clincher though, was that we loved the architect, we felt he understood us which was a big thing.

When we first saw the plans we were very excited, and thought they nailed it. There were a few changes, but they pretty much got it bang on.

We enjoyed how easy the design process was because we knew what we wanted, but not necessarily what it was going to look like. Also being able to hand it over to two people, the architect and interior designer, whom we really trusted to do something elegant and lasting that would never really date or wear out and that fits us as a family.

We’re super stoked as we know the house is going to be big, airy and flow well.

Christine and Nick from Northcote,

I count it one of my very lucky days when my daughter and I stopped to speak to Peter from "Destination Living" at their display area in the Home Show about 3 years ago. My "grand plan" was that in maybe 2 years' time to have a new home built for myself, in Heathmont. After looking for about 12 months I found the block of land I wanted and I straight away gave Peter a call to reintroduce myself to him and to find out what I needed to do next, before actually paying the balance of money for the land. Peter couldn't have been more helpful, within 2 days I had a soil test and arborist's report done, by companies recommended by Peter.

All the services that "Destination Living" offered - applying for permits, designs, plans etc., were exactly what I was after, and all within the same office. Right from the start I felt so confident with all their guidedance and advice. Any changes I made along the way were never any trouble to implement. They even recommended the building company to me and I have found Adam extremely professional to work with.

My total dealings with "Destination Living" have been amazing, with all their suggestions, advice and help - where they do everything required to make your dream home a reality.

I would like to thank everyone most sincerely, who had anything to do with my home project,

Carolynn from Heathmont,
